Too much painting...

argh... hands... really... hurt.

Miriam and I are repainting her attic room. It's huge. However we encountered a "OMG no!" situation with colour not really coming out on the walls as it was expected. So I'm repainting a lot now with some white primer. This is a lot of painting with a roller.

I've not done half of what I wanted to today painting wise because my hands are REALLY sore :(

I'm going to lunch with Brian in a little bit, and after that shopping for the Indian meal Miriam and I are cooking saturday night for everyone. Should be fun.

I might take some before/after photos later too...

Take regular breaks, don't over-exert yourself. I did my room last summer, and wound up aching for days after.

It's really surprising how much work it actually is... arms hands and back are really being worked. However it's my hands that hurt :/

That's because all the stress is focused on your hands. You'll end up with Popeye forearms if you keep this up.

Sorry about that. I wish I was painting instead of stuck writing a paper.

This is where you two will be living shortly, yes?

Still living - its a big space.

We're repainting one half on if, moving stuff, and then moving on to the other half.

yeah...darkcryst has already moved in with me...the problem is that the room has'nt finished moving yet ;)

i cant wait until its done and there are no more piles o junk around. i'm usually really picky about cleaning and stuff, so its driving me crazy.

*nods* I am too. I simply can't write if the room I'm in is a wreck. So, I spend lots of time procrastinating and cleaning when I should be at the keyboard. :-/

Once I finish the grape animation i can help...like i said, you dont have to do anything you dont want to do.

did you find the ingredients list? you should probably clarify that "Everyone" means my parents ;)
as much as i would like to cook for everyone, its not my house unfortunately, otherwise i would have people over for dinner.

Well I do want to do it... thats why it's frustrating :/ I mean, I want this done as much as you and as I'm here all day it makes sense for me to do more of it.. however I may have to call it quits until maybe later this evening :/ Like I said, frustrating.

I'm heading out in a min to get the ingredients, and yeah "everyone" is probably to broad! :)

thats a cute icon.

its hard work... but we both knew that. after the painting and the floors are done, the rest will be a piece of cake, and theres no way it can turn out worse than it looks now. i dont think you want to live in a room that looks like it was inspired by buttered popcorn either.
