My MS Bluetooth Mouse has died. Or rather: the bluetooth adapter has died. Grr. Guess I'll have to find an old USB mouse from somewhere. I swore to myself that if I was going to get another mouse it would be the Logitech MX1000, and I'm not about to spend that much money with the way things are.

Well it was way past my bedtime anyway.. but it's still annoying.

In other news:

Elsje is a sweetie! She sent me (well Miriam and I really) a congrats card with the cutest note inside. Plus she found the Bjork concert for me (still downloading)! Everyone pile much love on her. Go! Now!

So Mom and Dad and I were just having a conversation -- Mom wants to scan in some old photos of my siblings where the colors are fading rather badly, have Dad or me put the color back in (because surely it's just that easy), and then print out new copies to have. Towards the end of the conversation I pointed out to Mom that you're rather good at this sort of thing.

Now, it isn't something that's likely to happen right away (really, it's something that Mom might have going in the next year), and Mom's trying to do it for cheap (hence having me do it rather than taking it to the camera shop down the way), but it's possible for me to convince her that you'd do a better job than I would in less time and since you're not obligated to put up with her demands by marriage or blood, you'd be entitled to some sort of compensation.

That is, if you've got the time and interest.

Sure. I'll do my best! :)

Colour fading can be tricky. It really depends on the type of fading, and the seriousness of it. No matter what happens though they are usually recoverable in some form - if only as much nicer B&W. However I'd only recomend that in the most serious cases!

Anyhow I can have a look when needed :)
