Gregs Musical Mission

I have a mission.

It's a simple mission, but one that is proving surprisingly hard to achieve.

Find a recording of Bjork, Live at the Union Chapel.

Ideally this would be the show rinnywee and I saw (the 11th Dec. 1999) but frankly right now I'd settle for either of the two shows.

For those of you that don't know, which is probably most of you, the Union Chapel gigs are considered probably the best performances that Bjork has given. Ever. They were completely accoustic. No amplification, no MTV Unplugged style pick-ups. Just Bjork, and the Brodsky Quartet, in an auditorium smaller than many local band venues. The Union Chapel is famous for its incredible accoustics, and has been around since the 1890's. The two shows (just 200 seats at each show) were both recorded but, for some reason, never released.

The bootlegs are out there, and I would pay good money for one, but I can't find a single copy.

Anyone have any suggestions?

My husband is downloading one of them for you. I asked him if he could find one and he did!

Wow.. he beats me at the internet! ;)

Where does he use to search? Perhaps my methods/tools are flawed!

I found one copy that just refused to download. The irony here is that if she'd released it I would have bought a copy for sure.
