Gary Gygax is dead. This may not mean anything to you, but to summarize: he pretty much invented modern RPGs with Dungeons & Dragons.

Sad.

Whoa. That is really sad. I know I'm a geek for saying so, but he was an important figure to me in my youth and along with Tolkien contributed to my love for high fantasy. I'm not sure how to honor his passing.

Given how he lived I'd say: play a role-playing game, the simpler rules the better, and make it about the characters.
